Ozcorp Scientific is a venture studio dedicated to developing research platforms and scientific infrastructure. Our focus is on creating innovative solutions that enhance data-driven research capabilities across various industry domains.
Role Description
We are seeking an entry-level AI Platform Developer to join our initiatives. This is a 6-month Co-Op style program with a stipend of $14K. You will be responsible for creating interactive applications leveraging AI-based coding tools, as well as implementing cloud services from providers like Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud to optimize business procedures internally and for our clients. Your work will contribute to the development of platforms that support research and innovation across businesses.
Important: The candidate must be within one year of attaining a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM, business, or related field. (If you just graduated Summer 2025, you qualify for the role.)
Key Responsibilities
- Interactive Application Development: Utilize AI-powered tools like Cursor and Bolt.new to design and develop interactive applications that enhance our business services, engagement, and functionalities.
- Cloud Services Implementation: Integrate and manage cloud services from platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud to ensure scalable and reliable application deployment.
- AI Agent Integration: Implement AI agents to automate tasks, improve application responsiveness, and enhance user interactions.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experienced in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with AI development tools like Cursor and Bolt.new.
- Experience with cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Embrace and implement effective vibecoding methodologies, leveraging AI to streamline coding processes and enhance productivity.
Compensation and Opportunity
- $14,250 for 6 months of work ($15/hr 40FTE).
- Opportunities for mentorship and hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI technologies.
- High-performing co-op developers will be expedited into full-time positions upon program completion.
