Ozcorp Scientific (ozcorp.io) is a venture studio that turns messy client requirements into shipped digital solutions. We operate hands-on from Puerto Rico, converting business objectives into contracts, product specs, partnerships, and working software that clients actually use. We build SaaS systems, data platforms, AI-assisted workflows, compliance orchestration tools, and commercialization support for real clients with real budgets. We deliver production software under contract using AI-native development practices.
About This Internship
Ozcorp Scientific seeks an AI-Native Software Engineer Intern for a professional development program. This internship is designed for emerging professionals who are serious about their engineering careers and want hands-on experience with AI-native development on production systems. Successful interns will have the capacity to confidently transition into paid positions after demonstrating commitment and capability. Depending on our progress with current client engagements and funding, there is potential for this role to convert into a paid part-time or full-time position within 6–9 months.
Time commitment: 10–20 hours per week. Internship duration: 4–7 months (rolling admissions).
What You'll Do
- Build, test, and ship features on live client projects using AI-native coding workflows.
- Collaborate directly with the founder on architecture, systems design, and client delivery.
- Convert ambiguous client requirements into clear PRDs, acceptance criteria, and shipped features.
- Work with our core tech stack: React/Next.js, TypeScript, Node, PostgreSQL, Azure.
- Help establish best practices for AI-first engineering in a production environment.
- Experiment with AI coding tools and share learnings with the team.
- Contribute to real SaaS products, data platforms, and client deliverables under contract.
- Learn the business side: proposal writing, client communication, scope management, productization.
Compensation
This internship is currently unpaid. Successful interns demonstrating strong performance and alignment with our standards will be first in line for paid positions. We provide resume reviews, mock interviews, personalized career coaching, direct founder mentorship, and exposure to real client delivery.
What We're Looking For

- Openness to feedback and resilience in the face of uncertainty.
- Bonus: Experience with AI-native coding tools (Cursor preferred, OpenAI Codex, etc.); knack for speed/automation/efficiency; interest in the business side of software (contracts, proposals, client relationships).
